Jim Freed

Colony of Mercy Program Administrator
I was called by God to come to America's KESWICK in 1996, while serving in an addiction recovery ministry in my local church. Having personally experienced God’s transformation in my own personal recovery from drugs and alcohol, I have made it my life’s goal to be used by God to help others like myself.
My name is Jim Freed and I have been freed indeed. Freed by the transforming grace of God from a miserable existence as a hopeless drunk. I have been married to one wife for 35 years. Her name is Carol Ann and she has literally overcome evil with good by staying by my side for that long. We have seven grown children, the last of whom is a junior in high school. I serve as the Director of Men's Addiction Recovery Ministries at America's KESWICK by the grace of the God who does exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or think. I have seen and have been a part of numerous miraculous life transformations including my own, and am fully expecting to see many more. If God never does anything else in my life, He has already far exceeded my greatest expectations.
