God has used the trials of addiction in my family life to give me a deep compassion for the men (and their families) whose lives have been devastated by addiction ( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) so that I can comfort others the way He has comforted me. God has taken all my pain and trials and transformed it into treasure for His glory. I can think of no better way to pass it on than to serve on staff at America’s Keswick.
The drug addiction of my teen sons transformed my families life forever first by bringing me into the deepest pit of my life and then by finding Jesus in that same pit. My son Daniel came through the Colony of Mercy in 1998 and again in 2000. It was in the Colony Chapel that I finally heard and understood the gospel message. In October 1998 I became a new creation in Christ. The Lord began tugging on my heart to give back to others what He had given me and in 2000 I went back to college and received a bachelors in Bible and Master of Christian Counseling from the Philadelphia Biblical University in 2005. God has given me the desires of my heart to return to America's Keswick and serve on staff in the capacity of both Intake Coordinator and in Women’s Ministry. My husband John and I have been married for 35 years, we have two grown and married sons, and three grandchildren.
