Lindsay Bear Garden UPDATE! 09-24-2012
We are so excited to see Henry and the maintenance crew working on the installation of the new playground pieces. They have been erecting and setting parts of the huge final piece of equipment for over a week. It looks like a big puzzle with progress each day.
We are thankful that the big rain and wind storm we had on September 18th did not blow asunder what had been erected because the crew had not yet been able to pour the concrete to stabilize the equipment. Henry said, “It was like the wind went around the playground.”
We anticipate the playground will be completed and ready for use later this fall, so keep an eye on our updates as we continue to make progress.

Lindsay Bear Playground Project
Well, the PLAYGROUND project is underway. The area has been cleared and fencing has been installed. Already 3 large pieces a Track Glider, a 4-swing swing set, and a tire swing have arrived and are in the process of being set.
We are eager to complete this project and need approximately $24,000 to wrap it up. May we invite you to partner with us with a 3-month pledge during this “GET IT DONE” phase?
Will you help us make the Playground in memory of Lindsay Groen a reality? Lindsay is Bill (President/CEO) and Jan Welte’s granddaughter-- who died in 2008 at the age of 2 from heart complications.
We love the sound of children playing; we can almost hear it now. We are looking forward to what God will do to move us from planning to playing.
