Dr. Lynne Jahns
Director of Barbara's Place & Director of Women's Ministry
Dr. Jahns is the Barbara’s Place Program Director, the women’s residential addiction house established in 2014. She also oversees many of the programs that are offered through ENRICH as well as leading the Monday night Higher Ground meeting for women.
Previously, Lynne spent thirteen years in the college setting as a counselor, instructor, and service learning educator. She has also served in the capacity of Director of Women's Ministry at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio. As the Director of Programs at The Cherry Street Mission in Toledo, Ohio she established the curriculum for the men’s and women’s long term recovery program. She has also been on staff at Seashore Family Services in Brick, serving women and children coming out of addiction, homelessness and abuse.
Lynne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Behavioral Sciences from Cedarville University in Ohio, a Master of Arts degree from The College of New Jersey in Community Counseling, and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Louisiana Baptist University.
Lynne is married to Bill Jahns, the Director of Housekeeping at America’s Keswick.
