“Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:5-6

Since the inception of the Women of Character program in the fall of 1999 our goal upon graduation at the end of the 4 months was that a husband and wife would be, “On The Same Page”. During the 4 months a couple is involved in our program the husband is working through Overcomers materials and Bruce Wilkinson’s book Personal Holiness in Times of Temptation while his wife is working through her topical Bible study. The purpose of the On The Same Page program is to exchange information so that a husband will have a better understanding of what his wife is learning and a wife will have a better understanding of what her husband is learning. This is accomplished through monthly meetings with the couples taught by one of our women’s counselors or men’s chaplains. We believe this ministry facilitates reconciliation and prompts open communication for the couple.
